Ke$ha is a hot mess!

Ke$ha whose name still makes me wonder how on the earth did she get famous was seen here in Paris at a personal fitting with Jean Claude Jitrois. She has been all over the news with her top selling song “Tik Tok”, you know the one where she wakes up in the morning and feels like p-diddy? On her recent guest apperence on Lopez Tonight she was quoted in saying,

“One day I was like, I couldn’t buy a taco and I was really bummed out…I was digging for quarters in my couch and I was like, this is whack! I hear my song playing when I walk by Walgreens, coming out of people’s cars—and I can’t buy a taco?”.

I think we have our next Britney Spears everyone…..

Verizon cutting 13,000 jobs! Unemployment here I come…

After 4th quarter loses Verizon Communications, Inc. announced Tuesday that they will be cutting 13,000 again for the year 2010. In 2009 VZ cut somewhere near 17,000 jobs which cost over 3 billion dollars giving them the loss of 653 million dollars in the 4th quarter. Although this is very uneasy news don’t fret! Verizon is a very strong company that has seen records sales for 2009 and expect more in 2010 with the iPhone coming there way.

If you haven’t already checked out the new Motion City Soundtrack you deff should. My Dinosaur Life, which is the bands fourth studio released album has gotten a lot of positive reviews. I know I will be buying it sometime this week…who ever said CD’s were dead are totally wrong!

WOLFPACK STUNS DUKE

So my college pulled out the BIG WIN yesterday night against the Blue Devils. All though I was sadly working at Target I was able to catch the last few minutes on the radio/tv and I was sitting on the the edge of my seat the entire rest of the game. The last few games we have played were very upsetting loses espeically the most recent against Clemson. It’s nice to see State getting some good press for athletics. If we can beat Duke 88-74 whats stopping us from crushing UNC. Maybe Sidney Lowe will keep his job after all? Lets hope!
